2015 Memorial Day Weekend Cruise

Our Memorial Day rendezvous cruise is just around the corner!  If you’re planning to join the fun at the Kingston Marina, May 22-25 and your name is not noted below (either boating or driving in), please let me know.  If you’re taking your boat, make sure you have called the Port of Kingston to reserve a slip (360-297-3545).   For more information about marina amenities, click here.

CAUTION entering the marina at low tide.
Signs warn of shallow waters to the west of the marina in the cove — the water gets extremely shallow. Pay close attention to water depths and signage when you approach the marina.

 

Weekend Agenda

 

Friday

Most members will arrive Friday.  We have reserved a covered cabana on the dock.  Look for the Seabacs banner!  This is a good place to gather for Happy Hour.

Dinner on your own – feel free to check out local restaurants or stay at the dock and mingle.

What to bring to club meals on the dock . . . plates, utensils, napkins and beverages. And a chair, if you have one!  There is limited seating at the cabana.

 

Saturday

Coffee on the dock.  

Farmer’s Market in the Marina Park: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Booths always offer fresh fruits, vegetables and baked goods, as well as a BBQ station.  And, there are arts and crafts booths.  There’s typically live music, too!

Happy Hour – Cabana

5 p.m. – Chips and dips, fresh veggies and dip, and more!  If you’d like to bring something to share, feel free.

Dinner on the Dock – Cabana

6 p.m. – The club will provide a main dish (BBQ chicken).  Please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Games

We’ll pull out games . . . bring at least four quarters with you!

 

Sunday

Coffee on the dock. 

Brunch

10:30 a.m. – Brunch will be served and is likely to include eggs and turkey sausage.  If you’d like to bring fruit or another side dish to share, feel free.

Happy Hour

5 p.m. – Appetizers and snacks to hold us over to dinner

Dinner on the Dock

6 p.m. Potluck 2 . . . the club will provide a main dish (hamburgers & Kosher dogs, perhaps).   Please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Monday

Coffee on the dock.  Baked goods / pastries served.

Enjoy the morning and your cruise or drive home, if you’re departing on Monday.

Bathrooms/Showers

The Port provides unlimited use of the bathrooms/shower facility to all paying guests and tenants. They are located under the Port’s office building. The bathrooms have a security coded number pad that can be accessed by visiting the office. Additional bathroom only facilities are also located at mid-marina as well as near the boat launch ramp.

Laundry

The laundry facility is located next to the bathrooms. It can be accessed with a security coded number pad that can be obtained by visiting the office. Both the washer and dryers are quarter operated. The cost is $1 per load for each. Detergent can be purchased at the office for $1. There is ample room within the facility to tend to your needs.

Electric Vehicle

As a paying guest at the Port we have provided an electric car that can be utilized to obtain supplies within a small radius of Kingston. The Port does require a current driver’s license as well as proof of insurance to use the vehicle. Please inquire within the office if interested.

Internet Access

Currently, the Port offers all paying guests WI/FI internet service. Please see the office regarding connection requirements.

Covered Picnic Tables

The covered picnic tables within our guest moorage are provided for your enjoyment. They are first come first serve. Open flames are not allowed under the covered picnic tables.
