What We Do

As the banner says, the Seabacs Boat Club meets at Boeing’s Oxbow Recreation Center in Tukwila, Washington south of Seattle at the Boeing Developmental Center.

Meetings begin at 7:00 pm on the second Monday of every month, except for July and August, and are followed by refreshments and a lot of boating-related conversation.

We make plans for club-organized cruises to Marinas throughout Puget Sound which are anywhere from 2 to 5 day get-togethers, and usually include dining-out expeditions and shopping.

We also plan ‘anchor-out’ cruises where we all tie-up together to do some crabbing and dinghy excursions to nearby parks or marinas. Since there are also many events put on by other clubs throughout the region, such as Seattle Opening Day, the Daffy Days Daffodil Festival in Tacoma, the NBC picnic and IOBG Spring Meeting – not to mention numerous Commodores’ Balls at many yacht clubs, we spend a lot of time planning the social calendar.

If you’re interested in joining us, simply click on the Join Us link box in the left column to learn more and to download an application form, and to get directions to the Oxbow Recreation Center.
