Seabacs 2025 Schedule

Feb. 19: Seabacs Meeting. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at the Des Moines Yacht Club, 22737 Marine View Dr. S, Des Moines, WA 98198. Plenty of free parking. Enter upstairs on the waterside of the clubhouse. 

March 1: Des Moines Yacht Club Commodore's Ball. We traditionally have at least one full table at this fun annual dinner/dance. BYOB Social at 6 p.m. Program at 7 p.m. Dinner at 7:30 p.m. Dancing from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. $70/pp. RSVP by Feb. 21. Register online at www.desmoinesyachtclub.com. Click on the Commodore Flyer and enter guestyc to access the registration page. 

HOLD March 14-15: Possible cruise/rendezvous weekend at the Des Moines Marina. More information to come. 

April 11-13: The Daffodil Festival. This annual event is hosted by Tacoma Yacht Club. The theme is Boating Locally. Commodore Frank Mortimer has registered his boat, Opus, in the marine parade on April 13 in Tacoma. There are three days of activities, including the Trivia Contest on Saturday, April 12; we'll have a team competing. 

May 28-31: Kingston Cruise/Rendezvous. We'll spend the weekend at the Kingston Marina.   

July 4th Cruise:  This annual cruise typically starts in Lake Washington, cruises to the Poulsbo/Port Orchard area/marina and then ends in Lake Union to watch the Seattle fireworks. Members are welcome to join the cruise at any point. More information to come. 

August 30 - Sept. 1: Blackberry Festival in Bremerton. Seabacs will be on the dock for the weekend, enjoying live music, lots of food/vendors, and socializing. Contact Rick Petterson for more information.
